Indian Evening

Hello everyone,

on Wednesday, November 15th, at 19.30 there will be an Indian Evening at Alexandra's house!

Alexandra spent in spring 4 weeks in India and hasn't shown her fotos and hasn't told all of her stories to us, yet. That's why we're going to have this Indian Evening with Indian food (we'll talk about how to organize this...) and Alexandra's impressions about India!

Meeting at Konstantina's house

Hello everybody,

Konstantina invites us to come to her house (Sülztorstraße 6c) on Friday, November 3rd, at 9pm. It would be nice if everyone could bring something to drink, like beer or wine. Food will be supplied by Konstantina!!!

SNOWDOME and Ralf Schumacher Motodrom

Hello everybody,
on Saturday, November 4th, we are going to go to Bispingen, where the skiing hall SNOWDOME and the Ralf-Schumacher-Motodrom are.

We will meet at the train station in Lüneburg at 6.30 am. From there we will take the train at 6.53 am to Hamburg-Harburg, change the train there to go to Buchholz where we will have to change the train again to go toSchneverdingen. We will arrive in Schneverdingen at 8.19 am.
In Schneverdingen we will take the bus at 8.30 to Bispingen, where we will arrive at 8.51 am. From the bus station we will have to walk a little bit to the SNOWDOME and the Ralf-Schumacher-Motodrom.

For the way back we have to take the bus at 15.21 (last bus!) to Soltau Nord (arrival at 15.37) and from there we will take the train at 15.58 back to Bucholz, Hamburg-Harburg and Lüneburg (arrival at half past 6 pm).

For the time in between we have several options:

1. buying a 4-hour-ticket for SNOWDOME
2. buying a 2-hour ticket for SNOWDOME and go to the Motodrom afterwards
3. going only to the Motodrom

There is also the possibilty for everyone to decide individually which option he or she wants to select since SNOWDOME and Motodrom are right next to each other.

Prices SNOWDOME:

• 2-hour-ticket: 20 €
• 4-hour-ticket: 22 €
• renting skis + sticks/ snowboard: 6 €
• renting ski boots/ snowboard boots: 4 €
• renting skiing pants ans jacket: 7 €
• renting everything together: 15 €

Prices Ralf-Schumacher-Motodrom:

• 1 ride of 10 minutes: 11,50 €
• 5 rides of 10 minutes: 55 €
• buying a morion (obligatory): 2 €

Furthermore, we will have to buy some train and bus ticket but I don't think that this will be that expensive. For the train we can use Niedersachsenticket (24 € for 5 people for the whole day; I already have 1 Niedersachsen-Ticket for free). For the bus a whole-day-group-ticket for up to 5 people will be about 15 €.
So the price for train and bus depends on how many people we will be.

Yulya's farewell farra!

Hello everybody,

we'll meet on Monday, Octobre 23rd, at 8 pm at Karina's house to have Yulya's "farewell farra". That means that we will have some food (probably Spaghetti and some cake!), that we will stay over night at Karina's house and that we will throw some cats.
So please, everyone who has a sleeping bag, bring it with you!

Just some thing that may be interesting

Hello guys,
here are two offers for filling your free time :

Saturday, Octobre 21st:
Concert of "Fluevo" at "Cafe Klatsch" (address: Springintgut 21).
The played music will be a mix of Latin, Funk, Jazz and Pop. The Concert will start at 9pm, the etrance is probably free (at least I didn't find anything about entrance fee neither on the flyer, nor on the homepage of Cafe Klatsch).

Tuesday, Octobre 24th:
"Nós do Cinema - Films from the favela"
In authentical short films young people from the poorest districts of Rio de Janeiro show what agitates them. Afterwards, there will be a discussion with Ana Christina Cunha of "Nós do Cinema". The non-profit organisation offers the opportunity to get knowledge and skills about film an informatics to young people from socially weak environments.
After the discussion everyone is invited to a party where the band "Sangue Negro" will play Brazilian rythms from Bahia. (<-- This is just a translation of the text on the flyer...)

The films will be in Portuguese with English subtitle.
This will take place in the so called "Blauer Salon" (blue saloon, university campus, building 11, room 117) at 8pm. Entrance free!
The party afterwards will start at 9.30 pm in the so called "Wohnzimmer" (living room; university campus, building 9, 1st floor).
